Your treatment begins with cleansing and prepping the skin.

The VI Peel solution is then applied while a handheld fan is provided for comfort. Thanks to phenol, a mild numbing ingredient, most patients experience little to no discomfort — only slight warmth or tingling during application.

The appointment takes approximately 30 minutes.

For best results, we typically recommend:

Many patients notice improvement after one peel, with continued correction throughout the series.

Immediately after treatment, skin may appear slightly tan or orange. Mild itching, tightness, or temporary darkening of pigmentation is normal.

Peeling typically begins around days 3–5, ranging from light flaking to sheet peeling.

You may experience:

• Temporary breakouts

• Darkening of pigmentation before it fades

• Mild sensitivity

For best results:

• Avoid sweating and excessive heat until peeling begins

• Do not pick or peel the skin

• Use only the provided skincare

• Apply SPF 30+ daily and reapply every 2 hours

• Makeup may be worn 4 hours after treatment
