Your provider will begin by cleansing the area and applying a topical numbing agent for comfort. All JUVÉDERM® XC products contain lidocaine to further minimize discomfort.
Using a fine needle or cannula, the filler is strategically placed to restore volume, contour, or enhance shape. You may feel slight pressure or a brief pinch, but the procedure is generally well tolerated.
Appointments typically take 30–45 minutes depending on the area treated.
Results are visible immediately, with improvement continuing as swelling subsides.
