Your appointment begins with cleansing the skin and applying a topical numbing cream to ensure comfort.

Protective eyewear is placed, and you will be given a handheld fan to minimize heat sensation during the procedure.

Working in sections, your provider glides the laser device across the skin. Most patients describe the sensation as warm with minimal discomfort.

Treatment time varies by area but typically ranges from 20–45 minutes.

For optimal results, most patients complete:

A series of 3 treatments, spaced approximately 4 weeks apart.

However, treatment plans are fully customized and may vary based on skin condition, goals, and whether CoolPeel or DEKA is selected.

Maintenance treatments may be recommended annually to preserve collagen stimulation and long-term skin health.

Immediately After Treatment

The skin will resemble a moderate sunburn and feel warm or “hot.” This typically resolves within 3–4 hours. A battery-operated fan can help reduce discomfort.

Days 1–3

• Redness and mild swelling are expected

• Makeup may resume 48 hours after treatment

Days 3–7+

A rough, sandpaper-like texture will develop. This micro-scabbing is part of the normal healing process as damaged skin sheds and new skin emerges.

• Apply SPF 30+ daily and reapply every 2 hours
